How to build an AI stack on a small budget

It is easy to end up paying for several AI tools that do the same job. A small, deliberate stack usually does more for less.

Here is the method FloPilot uses when it builds a workflow on a budget, plus ready-made workflows and what they cost to start today.

The method

  • Write down what you already pay for. Reuse those tools before adding anything new.
  • Pick one tool per job (writing, images, video, automation, notes). Two tools for the same job is usually waste.
  • Start every new tool on its free plan. Upgrade only the one you use every day.
  • Compare prices like with like: yearly plans look cheaper per month but are paid up front.
  • Review once a quarter. Prices and plans change; FloPilot re-checks vendor pricing pages every two days.

When paying is worth it

Upgrade when a limit costs you time every week: you keep running out of credits, you need commercial rights, or you need the integration that only the paid plan has. That is the moment a paid plan earns its price.
